Above shows the rig standby safety vessel Grampian Crusader easing away from her berth at Holmsgarth heading for sea. In the background are the NorthLink ferries Clare and Hjaltland.

Taking shelter for several days earlier in the month was the offshore support/tug supply vessel Maersk Attender.
A rare visitor to Lerwick recently was the French stern trawler Nordic II, which arrived from the fishing grounds to the north of Unst.
The Banff registered pelagic trawler Ocean Quest awaiting her turn to land her catch at the Shetland Catch processing factory.

This month has seen numerous landings of mackerel to the port from a wide variety of trawlers.
The tug/work barge Forth Constructor, along with her fleetmate Forth Guardsman have been in Lerwick the past week or so patiently waiting for better weather so they can start work on a job in Yell sound.

Sarnia Liberty pulls alongside the north ness oil depot to offload another shipment of fuel for use around the isles.
