NorthLink to operate Shetland shuttle service

NorthLink Ferries today announced that their ro-ro ferry Hrossey will undertake a Shetland shuttle service until provisionally Monday 26th April as a result of the ongoing air traffic suspension.

At a time when her sister Hjaltland is in drydock in Birkenhead, and the demand for space for passengers is at an all time high, the Hrossey will maintain the following timetable:

From tomorrow (21st) Depart Lerwick 9am arriving in Aberdeen 7pm, Aberdeen 9pm - Lerwick 7am. The call into Kirkwall for the time being is suspended until Monday 26th April.
