Yesterday was Lerwick lifeboat's open day, a funraiser in aid of the RNLI.
Events during the day included live music at Victoria Pier along with stalls, and the lifeboat open to the public. At 2.00pm the annual Round Bressay and Noss cruise left port courtesy of NorthLink ferries onboard the Hrossey.
After leaving Lerwick the hundreds of passengers aboard were treated to a winching display by the coastguard helicopter based at Sumburgh, along with meeting up with the lifeboat while under the cliffs at the Noup of Noss (top photo).
All in all a great day out was had by everybody and thousands were raised for the lifeboat service.
