Last week saw a steady stream of vessels arriving in Lerwick for shelter from the Autumn's first gales.

The above picture shows Victoria Pier full with ships, they are from left to right: three Danish fishing boats tied together, Anne-Mie, Gitte Torben, Sebastian, in the background the research vessel Fugro Discovery, and to the right of picture Lerwick Port Authority tugs Kebister and Knab.
