SULLOM VOE NEWS

Last week an oil spill was reported at the oil terminal. A quantity of what was described as "dirty oily waste water" was released from the plants drainage system after a period a sustained heavy rain.

Clear up efforts were quickly launched with most of the oil being skimmed from the sea that day and the foreshore by the next morning.

An investigation has been launched.

ALFA BRITTANIA, 56,115(GRT), ETA 22:00 14th October.
FORWARD PIONEER, 58,099(GRT), ETA 16:00 15th October.
