Hrossey in the news again

NorthLink's passenger ferry Hrossey was involved yesterday in her third incident of the winter so far. While en route from Aberdeen in rough seas a trailer full of sand toppled over on the car deck damaging five cars.

The mess on the cargo deck delayed the unloading of fresh foods destined for Lerwick's shops until mid morning.

This comes a week after a passenger was thrown across the reception area of the vessel causing him to break 8 ribs, along with previously getting forecastle damage in February whilst on passage to Aberdeen in heavy seas.

NorthLink have launched an investigation into yesterdays event.
