Fenja tow in

The Norwegian owned reefer Fenja was towed into Lerwick Harbour this morning after breaking down around 50 miles east of Unst on Sunday afternoon.

The coastguard emergency tug Anglian Earl which was on station in Orkney waters was tasked to take the vessel into the southern approaches of Lerwick Harbour from where the local pilot tug Knab escorted the ship to her berth at Gremista.

The Fenja lost her main engine and despite attempts by the crew on board where unable to start it up. The tow arrived in Lerwick at 10:45am.
