2009 Cruise Liner visits

Norwegian Jewel above on her maiden visit to Lerwick last September. Currently the largest liner ever visit Lerwick she is due to return in 2009 in what promises to be a record breaking season for Shetland.

With 49 booked and possibily more to follow a busy summer season beckons.

Lerwick's 1000th cruise ship visit is in July, and the season sees the port's first 100,000 tonne ships the Costa Magica, and Crown Princess call.
