A period of steady gusty winds has sent plenty of shipping into and around the shores of Shetland.
Lerwick Harbour had maiden visit from the Ramform Sterling a wedge shaped survey vessel which docked this morning. (See photo below, click image to enlarge)
Tomorrow the biggest ever cruise ship to visit Shetland is due (weather permitting). The Crown Princess enroute from Bergen will be if she can make it in a record breaker, fingers crossed!!
