The 1st June truly hasn't felt like it with heavy persistent drizzle and strong winds disrupting one of Lerwick's three planned visits by cruise liners today.
Firstly the 7.30am arrival of Expedition on her last visit of the season was followed some three hours later by the MSC Poesia, which despite entering the outer harbour sadly had to abort her call due to wind & swell conditions. She continued on her way to Kiel, Germany.
The final caller in this afternoon on her maiden call to Shetland is the Ocean Nova which will be in overnight until her departure to Thorshavn.
