Sea Shepherd Update

Further to yesterday's post on Sea Shepherd and their plans for once they are released, it appears the bond required to release the vessel from it's arrest in Lerwick stands at $1.4 millon.

An international appeal has been launched by the organisation to help raise the funds. In the meantime the ship remains impounded alongside the Heogan berth on the island of Bressay, as the ship required moving to allow for the planned arrival of the Tall ships fleet to Holmsgarth.

More to follow as this story unfolds.
