Photo update on the work at Greenhead base to create berth 8. The 75 metre extension to the base is due from completion by September. A minimum water depth of 9 metres adds to Lerwick extensive deep water quayside capability.
The new quay at Mair's Yard, Holmsgarth almost finished. The 151 metre long quay has a minimum water depth of 6 metres which will expand available berthing space in that part of the harbour dramatically. In the long term a new fish maket building will be constructed on this site next year.
